Oh you know I just had a dream that it was already Sunday and that I woke up late and thus missed my train to Manchester and thus also missing the bus to Manchester Airport....Screwed man. So crap la. Luckily I woke up in time to discover it wasn't true... Hehe. I still have 20 hours to waste before going to Manchester.

Oh and I shall tell you my other dream yesterday! I wasn't sure whether I got stabbed or I've burnt myself where my heart is but I knew that there was a huge wound there. Before knowing this I was walking around town like normal and I was oblivious that I had a wound. Somehow or rather in my dream I happened to just wake up from a coma and went shopping so I didn't know nuts about the wound that I had. Only when I reached home and wanted to shower that I noticed that I had a sharp pain on the left side of my chest and vaguely saw parts of the wound that was not covered. Anyways, the funny thing was that the wound was covered in a huge maxi period pad.

It seemed logical in my dreams k??!! Since pads can soak up lots of blood so I thought that using a period pad was the most *ahem* ingenious idea ever! Until I woke up and told it to Ian that it felt so stupid....Heh. But really, I think if I have a tremendous wound I'll prob use a period pad from now on...

Anyhooo.....

I've just sent my boxes to the temporary storage and I had 14 boxes and bags! Which...I carried all the way down 7 flights of stairs. I survived miraculously.

Oh my...From the first episode to the last...I couldn't stop crying. Everyday I watched about 2 - 3 episodes...And I'd shed tears AT LEAST 5 times a day...

It's the loveliest most depressing story in the world!!! First it makes you laugh, then 2 minutes later it makes you cry and then it makes you angry and then you are so angry that you cry again. Stop playing with my feelings damnit!!!...*sniffles*

Ahh...then there is this really funny one which I am in the middle of watching now - Full House

Hahahah! If you haven't already seen this, watch it! It's the best! And it makes me hungry ALL THE TIME...It always shows them eating. And I even ordered a Chinese takeaway today just so I could also eat rice and pick my food with chopsticks just like they do!!!

It was actually much harder than what i imagined. It's cuz of the boobies part too. Did you realise that your non-stretchy clothings have sewing lines somewhere around your melons? I figured it was to shape the shirt to fit them!

I scratched myself a lot too with the pins. Haha! It's cuz I had to put the shirt on and pin some needles on them to make it fit properly and then take the shirt out and my face kept getting scratched.

Ah but I was sooo happy I succeeded making something! I've tried the machine a few times before but all of them turned out disastrous...I was getting worried that my machine was going to be hiding under my bed forever and £35 pounds would have been gone...Just like that...Poof!!! Abacadabra!!!

Oh oh, and I have fulfilled my fantasy of reading a book on the grass under the sun with the bunnies..

It felt so pleasant! The heat of the sun touching my skin was made just right with the cool breeze passing by. There was a poodle and a chihuahua running about nearby and little bunnies hopping around. I rested my feet on the daisy and daffodil-filled grass. Oh! And just like the cartoon movies, I caught one insect flying about and when it saw me, it stopped dead (in the air) and looked at me for 2 seconds before flying away...It was sooooo hillarious I tell you!!!

Everything was perfect!

Except for this one big-ass fly which kept landing on my feet. Smelly kot?!

I think we've both just the both of us have just got a tad bit too much on our hands.

It's not easy studying AND doing household chores at the same time, isn't it Ian?...It's a wonder how working mothers could handle it! Appreciate your working moms eh? Forgive them if they do get cranky sometimes...They have every right to.

Anyhow...

I have sooo much to update I don't know where to begin!!!

Well, for starters, I'll be back in Malaysia on the 29th of June. And there shall be some heavy dating I'll tell ya that!!! Yes, Ian and I survived a grueling 8th months (close to 9) of separation with ridiculous time differences. Only God knows how we pulled through! I didn't expect it to be so difficult and I'm glad both of us held through the hardship that could have easily torn us apart. Thank you, love. I can't wait to see you too! *hyperventilates*

Oh and, I *ahem* have developed a slight interest in fashion now. Thanks to my oh so sexy and fashionable Barbadian housemate, Asha!

Tell me is she not the hottest black girl in the world besides Beyonce?! If I was man, Imma marry that sexy thang....=) I love her to pieces. And she mixes and matches her clothes awfully well too!

Sooooo, as I am not rich enough to but a shirt or a dress that costs anything more than £15, I decided to buy a sewing machine to make them...

The woman in me can't sew straight for nuts, whereas the testicles in me managed to fix up the complicated thread arrangements on the machine with absurd excellence.

I haven't managed to sew anything yet. Although I did try to make a bikini and err... I managed this...heh...

Brilliant I know... Thank you, thank you! Oh you shouldn't have...!

Well, I hated it at first. But then come January and I fell in love with the snow...

And how it titillates the human creativity...

During Easter, I was given the opportunity to step into a real life fairytale of Enid Blyton's stories:

She reminded me of Tristar the pony whom Enid described was a black little horse with a diamond on her forehead

Well, okay that was practically it for my fairytale fantasy. Hehe..

But I did experience a proper English lifestyle when a dear friend, Racheal invited us to stay over at her home for a couple of days.

I had scones with cream and tea at a delightful English Teahouse:

Gosh, I'm sorry I couldn't capture the loveliness of the teahouse as I am an awful landscape photographer but here is the feel of it. And it is a million times lovelier than it looks in these pictures!

I also tried one of the yummiest hot chocolate in the world...

...and savoured every drop of it!

whilst sakais like us camwhore with drinks like most Asians who take pictures with pointless things.

Other than that, we just enjoyed the beautiful countryside sceneries...
and just relaxed and took in the homey feeling while we could, which we haven't experienced in a long long while...

Hi guys! :D Sorry for the long absense. I came to Australia to study and I've been busy as...

As promised, here's a lil update!

I came across this wicked tatt design! Its really cool and it certainly portrays the love of Christ and how He died on the cross for us! If I were to have a tatt, I would have that! =) It has some very creative tribal designs to it too! Making it look very artistic!

Also, here in Adelaide they have Billy Hyde which is this music store and they have heaps of guitars ranging from all different prices. It's insane! Here are some of the higher range guitars hence the insanely expensive price for it. But if you're a musican and a guitar junkie, price is not an issue when it comes to good sound and what you get from it! Zoom in closer to see how much they cost!

Next, here are some of my friends here in Adelaide. Gilson and Michelle! Yes, Michelle hates the world and everything. lol! JK! But both of them are really nice people. They are Filipino but they grew up in Kenya! Having Filipino blood in them, K-Box is the way! HAHA! Karaoke!

I've also been more outdoor climbing during the the colder seasons like in Autumn closing to Winter. Its insanely cold but I am kinda gettin' used to it and sometimes I do like it. Most of the times I do not. Owh wells..

This is Victor Harbour and its just by the sea with the insanely gushing winds and waves hitting the rocks. See that dark shaded area in the picture? That was the very boulder that I was climbing. Its a cliff rock that oversees the sea. Its heaps cold there! It was a very scary, endrenalline pumping climb! It was an overhang... So I had to climb upside down for a bit with my back facing the rocks and sea below. The fingers were kinda numb making it harder to climb due to the cold. Lovely view though... Great place to hang out and just chill... I would go back there again even if it doesnt involve climbing.

Last but most importantly, I so can't wait to see Jac! Soon! Soon! She's having a exams which is really stressing her out. Her exams are spread across which makes it very dreadful. Imagine having 1 paper a week. Thats crazy. They should have put it all in one week so that the students can get it done and over with. This is just torture!

Owh wells, I know she's capable of handling pressure and shes a strong one. Unlike me.. boo!

Hey guys, sorry for the long long absence. I had a two week holiday and basically I went out rock climbing and went for road trips here and there.

Anzac day was a blast! It was last Saturday and it is amazing to see how they show their respect and honor the fallen soldiers during the World War 1 and 2.

They had a parade going on. Blocked off all the main streets in town and shops can only open after 1pm. I had that patriotic thing going on in me.. haha..

Mount Moriata

Last Saturday I went to Mount Moriata for rock climbing with some mates from the UNISA rock climbing club and the Vertical rock climbing gym. There were some people from the US that were there with us too! The journey there was actually not too long but because there was this road accident on the way to Magill and it killed three people and they had to block off the whole road! The news was on the headlines of The Advertiser, Sunday’s newspaper. So we had to use an alternative road which made it longer. Yikes!

When we reached there, we had to dust our shoes at this platform before entering the park. It is important that we do that because we might be carrying some foreign stuff on the soles of our shoes to the jungle which can affect the wildlife there one way or another.

We had to track for about a good 15 minutes before we reached the vertical rock formations.

The climb was awesome! AWESOME! Finally all my training in the indoor rock climbing gym paid off! Really had a blast! Love the outdoors. I think Australia would be the best for outdoors! You really get to experience what “outdoors” is really like! Check out this iguana lizard in the wild!

You’ve gotta keep an eye for it! It camouflages itself in the woods!

Yeap! This is one of the harder routes! I managed to complete the second hardest one. There were others who were still trying to figure out how to complete the hardest route because the hand holds are very limited!

This is my buddy Doyle posing! He couldn’t really climb because he tore his ligament while climbing few months back. But he really has a heart for climbing! Great guy!

KOALA BEARS! – It a fat, cuddly, lazy, slow animal. It was practically bear hugging the tree and sleeping on it while watching us trying so hard to climb the different routes. He must be thinking, “I can climb way better than those people!” You should see his claws! It is huge as! This is Mike from US. He discovered the koala there because he wanted to take a piss. He almost pissed on it!

Hitched a ride back with Nate (Malaysian-Chinese Aussie mix). Had a ride of my life in his Nissan Silvia!

Just bought myself a cheap as harness from Paddy Palin – it’s an outdoor sports shop! Heaps good!

A Lil' Bit of Rome

Bonjourno everyone!

I've just gotten back from Rome...

and I shall give the trip a 7.4/10 rating....

I was there from the 23rd till the 26th but technically we were traveling home on the 26th so we only had 3 days to explore the capital of Italy.

We were really a bunch of sakai tourists lah...First things first, we visited the Colloseum, the Trevi Fountain, other historical places I have never heard of and of course, we couldn't miss the Vatican City and St Peter's Cathedral.

But when we touched down we realised, it wasn't so beautiful after all and the people were even less beautiful!!! As in attitude wise. Already while I was walking towards the airport, this really rude woman was asking me where I came from (as in where I flew from), but I couldn't get her cuz she spoke pretty bad English and she was really frsutrated when I didn't give here the answer that I wanted. AND she didn't say thank you when I gave her the answer...*frowns*

When we were on the bus on the way to our hostel, we realised Rome was as messy and dirty as Klang and just full of graffiti! I didn't manage to capture any of the buildings with never-ending graffiti but here's how it looked like in the beginning...

Basically, there're just ruins inside. It is a beautiful architecture I must say! But sadly I couldn't quite appreciate it as I kept going around and seeing the same thing. So what better to do than camwhore.

Of course, we didn't forget to eat Italian food and try their Gelato (ice cream) as well...

We had a variety of pastas, pizzas as big as 4 heads, risottos and gnocchi (pronounced as nyo-ki)

And I have 3 words for all of them - taste like shit.

You'd think the Italians can't go wrong with pizzas and pastas eh? Well, they did. Especially the last dish - gnocchi - they tasted like potato flavoured sponges which in my opinion should be banned from any restaurant menus and their production halted immediately. It doesn't deserve a place in this world!!!

Thankfully, the Gelati (plural for "gelato") did not let us down

Wouldn't you just love to titillate ur tongue all these flavours - Nutella, Tiramisu, Hazelnut, Chocolate Truffles, Youghurt, Chocolate Mint, Cake, Coconut and lots more flavours you'd never knew existed in ice cream!!! Baskin Robbins and Ben & Jerry's would've run outta business if they sold these in the UK!

Yes! Im back and blogging! :D Soundwave was good! Loved Straylight Run! They are not as popular as the other bands that were there but they were good! They had lots of feeling in their music. Their Existentialism On Prom Night song was good with the added delay effect in the vocals! Hands In The Sky live is way better than the one in their album! Uni work has officially started pouring in. Pretty busy and very occupied in studying and doing my assignments. It is autumn now and it has been raining heaps. Light droplets of rain could be found here unlike in Malaysia where there you totally get soaked up in the rain because a droplet is super huge! Hahaha! It is getting cold now. Dropping to a whopping 13 degrees! I know it is nothing like what Jac is experiencing now. Wish I could hug and keep her warm! =D Sorry if that gave you guys a tingle! You know, I miss Jac heaps and it has been heaps long since the last time I held her hand or even sensed her presence in a room. I really can’t wait for the day where I can see her again...

Anyways, I really do have to run now as I have heaps of work to catch up. I will be blogging as often as I can yeah? Till then, you all! Take care!

It's been way too long and I am really sorry. I'm not very good at juggling blogging and studies...
Eeeek!!

But I survived through another semester and am finally having a 4-week Easter break now. Hahaha!! Ne ni ne ni poo poo!!! I bet you hate me so much now.

Sorry lah...Don angry don angry...I tell you story...

I have been most productive during the start of my holiday. Since I didn't get to celebrate my 21st birthday (OMG, I still havent replied fb birthday msges!!!)(Anyways, thank you to all of you u wished me happy birthday!!! I really appreciate it!!!)

*where was I?*

Oh yes, since I didn't get to celebrate my birthday because I had a stooh-pid assignment due the next day. Oh and let me tell you about this assignment (33% to my final marks)! I worked on it since forever kan...Like about a week before the due date. I worked day and night, stayed uptill the sun don shine and till the sun did shine and having 3 hours sleep a day was a rare luxury. The last two days before before the due date I did not sleep at all (both my Malaysian birthday time and UK birthday time - just making it more kesian and dramatic bah). And when I was finally done at about 6am on due date, I decided to pack my schoolbag, wash up and take a short nap before going to Uni to pass it up before the 12pm deadline.

I set 2 alarm clocks at 9am.

I didn't freaking wake up...

Till 3.45pm...

I didn't hear my alarms at all!

I got ears for what????!!!! Earrings???

...*&^%$#@#%&...

But somehow I felt really really calm...And I went online to check what the penalty was for handing in essays late...

And oh my goodness, for the love of God...

I would only lose 5%...

5%!!!

I thought I would've just gotten a big fat voluptious O% and all my hard work thrown out the window, and after that I will throw myself out the window...

Praise the Lord!!! Seriously!! I should be a nun...

So I (still) ran to Uni to hand in...As if any minute earlier would make a difference kan? I tried to appeal to see if they'd do anything (lawyers bah, cannot accept defeat) but they couldn't and my lecturer was very funny about it. I met her on the stairs halfway and told her what happened and she just laughed and said "Oh well, at least you'll never do it again!!!" Hahaha!! And she even said, "I'm really sorry it had to happen, but lets just hope u get the minimum penalty!" And my personal tutor also smiled and said, "Next time, you nap after you hand it in ok?" Ahhh...my lecturers...They are the jolliest people!!!

So now I can only hope I get good enough marks to risk the 5%. And even if I don't, I still have my exams to back it up!

And from this, I actually realised how grown up I was about it. If this happened 4 years ago. I would probably cry like a ninny and think that my life is over and noone would want to marry me...But somehow this time, I admit, I was very very calm about it. I woke up, looked at the time (3 bloody 45 pm) and my only reaction was..."Oh -toot-!!!" And I thought really fast - Immediately I turned on my laptop and checked the penalty. Then, I sempat brush teeth and pick some pimples and went to Uni to hand the essay in, saw my personal tutor, the admin in charge and ,my subject lecturer to see what I could do. But all the same, I didn't quite argue my way through, I just accepted that it was my fault and I should be big enough to be responsible for it and make sure it never happens again in future. I didn't make any excuses. I think this is the start of really being an adult. (Yedeh...so dramatic kan?)

Anyhow...more unto happier things!!!

I had an early one with my sister and brother-in-law who came to visit (Whee!!!) and it was perfect! You see, I actually came to Leeds before this when I was a pimple-free and periodless 11 year old and the only memory I had was my father and I used to walk opposite my sister's flat to eat this awesome fish and chips! And since I came here myself for Uni, I was looking high and low for this place but never found it! My sister kept forgetting to tell me where the area was. But then this time, my BIL drove around and I happened to ask where they stayed. Apparently, he JUST drove pass the place and asked if I wanted to see it. I said yes, and told him there was this fish and chip shop that I remembered opposite their old flat. So he took me there...And after 11 years, that tiny shop was still standing. 3 of us were a lil' hungry then and so we decided to share a packet of fish and chips. And it was absolutely delicious!!!! Best in Leeds so far, and mind you I have been hunting!!! 1 packet soon became 2 and then we couldn't help ourselves an got a 3rd one.

They felt so bad because I had to have fish and chips for my birthday dinner rather than in a fancy restaurant. But damn!!! The fish and chips were all I could ask for!!! After all the months searching for 1) the best fish and chips in the world and 2) the only place I remembered in Leeds - I got both!!! Perfect, don't you think?

We then went to a fancy restaurant to have THE BEST tiramisu I have ever tasted and we sat next to a table which had a girl celebrating her 21st birthday as well. I saw her colourful aluminium balloons and one which had a 21 written on it and I really wanted one. My sister almost asked her if she could give it to me (cuz she had a few) but I stopped her cuz I was so shy...

When I went home that night, I had a midnight knock on my door and my sweet sexy Barbadian housemate surprised me with a birthday card and guess what else???!!! You guessed it!!! A colourful balloon with 21 written on it!!! What a fabulous birthday!!! =)

And there was more!!! Chloe knocked my house door and surprised me with the loveliest, most creative and ingenius handmade card!!!

And it is stuck right in the middle of the wall in my room with the other cards!!! I love it!! Don't you??

Oh, my surprise didn't stop there...Apparently my girl gang (we are the only 4 Malaysian transfer students in Year 2 Law) left me a gift in the kitchen!!!

I would be yummilicious if I use them!!! =D

Ahhhh.... What sweet bunch of people!! I am blessed to have made fabulous friends!!! It was the perfect celebration! And the icing on the cake was that I FINALLY got to see Ian after countless weeks (he still hasn't got the internet)!!! He went to Uni to see me for my brithday while I ignored him most of the time and did my assignment...Hehe...I'm a girlfriend to die for, I know...Haha!! Sorry sweetheart!! I had a blast juts having you with me during the time when I am most stressed!!! I love seeing and chatting with you!!! Hope the internet ppl will come soon!!

And of course, not forgetting all of you who wished me on facebook!!! Thank you again!!! I am so sorry I haven't replied!! I was still caught up with work even after the assignments...=( That's life for me...I will soon!!! After I come back from Rome!!! (24th March)

Hi guys! Sorry for the super long absence! I have finally settled down. Got everything up and running. Yes! I have arrived in Adelaide, Australia safely and this week would be my official orientation week. Had an orientation week last week too but it’s pretty much for international students, to show us around and get ourselves sorted out and all. Adelaide’s great! Love the weather and the fact that it is dry here! Therefore, I have been spotless on my face for the past few weeks! Can you believe it? Back home, there’s the constant blackheads and pimples which needs constant pinching out! Here, none at all because it is dry my skin totally adapted to this environment well! However, the scorching sun is pretty unpleasant because it burns and sunscreen is a must!

What else have I been doing? Mark came down awhile to visit me, had a couple of drinks with him. I also have gotten to know some local dudes, Andy who brought me around surfing along the coastal areas of Adelaide. Loving the suburbs! Surprisingly Adelaide’s waves are great! Not that smooth at times but if you’re lucky, the next wave has your name written on it! :D Got hooked up in a sick as church, The Edge! It is way awesome! Pastor Danny aka. Daddy is has a tremendous anointing from God and in spite of the challenges he faces he continues to seek God even more fervently and now he has a new vision for the church! His vision is to see unity and a new generation of Christians taking the dropped mantle and wearing it and going all out for Jesus!

The name of the youth group is Generations and they are totally crazy for God! I feel very much at home. I managed to make friends with the leaders there. Chris, Winnie, Matt, and lots more! Winnie is the leader of my care group which we meet every 2 weeks once in reading the Word and fellowship over food! For now, we have 20 people in our CG and they are a great bunch of people! There are Indonesians, Malaysians, Australians, and Hongkies! I am looking forward in helping to serve this coming Friday for the youth service. Don’t know what Chris has in mind for me to do. There is this hunger in me to just go to church! I can’t wait for Friday or Sunday services! How I want to just stay in His presence forever and ever! Like the Psalmist, I would want to dwell in your house/presence forever and ever. Last week they had a guess speaker Pastor Paul from Auckland, NZ and he is great! I can’t describe to you how awesome the service was. There are no words to say. All I can do is stand in awe of God’s presence manifested through the service and His word proclaimed through Pastor Paul. I just bought the CD, I will be mailing it back home. So I hope you guys get to hear it! Please do! This is the sermon and don’t get me started on the worship! WHOA! I tell you! It’s crazy! It’s crazy! WOW! I’ll blog more specifically on church more soon aye?

I have been going for grocery shopping too! You can call me aunty or whatever but I must admit it is pretty fun to shop for food stuff and bringing it back home to cook the best meals ever or sometimes the not so good meals. Haha! There is Coles supermarket and Central Market which you can all kinds of stuff there for great deals! In central market you can also find Chinese supermarkets! They have everything! So far, I have made fried rice, beef balls with bolognaise sauce, fettuccini with bolognaise sauce, tuna salad, fried chicken, and chicken curry. By far, the chicken curry is the best! Speaking of food, there are a couple of restaurants I went recently like Rundle Spices which has good Asian food, Yiros which is like the Ramli burger stall back home, Hog’s Breath which is something like Chilies back home but it is way better! Copperhagen – they have the best waffle ice creams ever! Simply orgasmic! Cibo – super great coffees! Say goodbye to Starbucks and Coffee Bean! Speaking of which, there is no Starbucks and Coffee Bean here! They have a new wide range of coffee shops! I have been to more but I can’t remember all the places but you’ll hear more about them soon in my future posts!

University is huge! UNISA has 4 campuses across Adelaide. City east, city west, Magill and Mawson Lakes. The magill campus which I am studying at is by far the biggest! It is like 3 times of Jaya 1 back home! I can get lost in there I tell you! They even have a river flowing through the campus! Olympic size swimming pools, gym, tennis court, 3 football fields and the list goes on! For the football junkies back home, for your info, the grass here is the best! There’s futsal too! Being a UNISA student I have access to all of the campuses across Adelaide. I can use the computer in City West and have my document printed in Magill! I have my first semester’s subjects already! – Strategic and Creative Public Relations, Marketing Principles: Trading and Exchange, Public Relations Theory and Practice, and one more elective which I am still thinking of doing. I could take either French, Business and Marketing Law, Effective Communication, or Foundations of Event Management. So, I am still thinking about it.

When it comes to events here, they are huge! They can find every reason to head out to party! It’s crazy! I went for the Garden of Unearthly Delights Festival! It was great! Great music and lots of stuff to see! I will be heading to Soundwave Festival this Saturday! Line up – NIN, Anberlin, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Underoath, Funeral for A Friend, New Found Glory, Hellogoodbye, Saves The Day, Finch, Emery, Jack’s Mannequin, Straylight Run and heaps more! Sick as right? WOOHOO!

Oh and some updates on Ian: He's doing well in Aelaide. He has been cooking lots and claims that it's really good. Haha! Am proud of him for surviving for the first time away from home and in a really far place too! He currently does not have any internet connection but he will (hopefully) be getting it in a couple of days.

To make things ever so lovely for me, the 4th one's (my sexy Asha) sorta-kinda boyfriend mailed some rose petals to me to make a heart shape outside her door and put his I LOVE U cushion and teddy bear there.

I have envisioned myself cooping up in my room, maybe having a pizza toast with juice and doing seminar work. If I feel romantic enough, I'll lick some oreos.

We sorta planned before he went to Australia to have a romantic skype dinner and movie date (I've got the popcorn already), but that's probably off now because I don't know when he'll have the internet fixed up, and it isn't Saturday.

Not too long ago I went to fix the decaying car. The windows had problems of going up and down. So I had to get right down to the problem and fix it. Apparently it was the window's motor that was old and the wires were out of place and rusty. To replace those stuff were pretty costly also. About RM 70 for one piece? So I had to get two.

I guess it's time for me to get a new car. Planning to get one in Singapore in the near future! ;) *grins*

On another note, before this woman left for the land of people who drink beer more than water and that has a general population of huge people, I took this really funny picture of her in MPH, Mid Valley.

So, I decided to do the very same thing but with a different monster in my grasp. haha! :D I tried but I think...I FAILED! lol.

I'll be heading to South Australia - Adelaide to further my studies on the 9th of February. Basically I have gotten everything settled out. Things like my acceptance letter by the university, visa, flight ticket, and shopping for the important stuffs. Speaking of shopping, I just bought myself a hoodie and a raincoat from Zara. From Guess, I got myself a nice leather rocker belt which has a big buckle (I'll post up pictures of the thing's I bought soon yeah?). I like! So, the only thing left out now is my accommodation. It would be pretty scary if I go there without accommodation. I would have to live by the streets! Thank God I have finally came to a conclusion on where to stay and such. Now I only have to confirm the place and pay my security bond. Here's KENT TOWN, ADELAIDE

Kent Town - Kent Town Student Village

It would be a two bedroom with a lounge and my own personal toilet. I need my personal time. Okay that sounds wrong but yeah.

Kent Town Student Village is located at 22 Wakefield Street, Kent Town, which is adjacent to the parklands adjoining the eastern boundary of Adelaide City. It is a 12 minute walk or 5 minute bike ride to the City East Campus of UniSA, The Adelaide University, the Adelaide Museum, the Art Gallery of South Australia and the Royal Adelaide Hospital. The City West Campus of UniSA, both Carnegie Mellon campuses and the Adelaide College of TAFE are a further 5 minute walk, as is Central Market and China Town. Rundle Mall and the cosmopolitan Rundle Street with its trendy cafes and coffee shops are also in close proximity.

Kent Town Student Village is a four storey building consisting of various size rooms with flexible layouts. Levels 1, 2 & 3 are currently disposed as 24 x 1 bedroom, 12 x 2 bedroom, 3 x 3 bedroom and 5 x 4 bedroom units. The ground floor has a large commercial kitchen, a smaller “open all hours” kitchen, large dining area, lounge room and study area.

The building has a coin operated Laundry containing both washing machines and clothes dryers, a secure area with bike racks and an outdoor relaxation area. Foxtel is available in the common lounge area. Wireless internet connection is available throughout the building.

Currently the bedrooms contain bed/s, wardrobe and bedside cupboard. Some rooms have a TV. Most rooms are air conditioned. Approximately half the rooms have an ensuite with the balance having shared facilities. You need to bring your linen, blankets, pillows, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. Each bedroom will be allocated a “dry store” cabinet adjacent to the kitchen.

A caretaker-couple live on site and attend to security, maintenance, inductions and the daily needs of the tenants. Mail is delivered and sorted on a daily basis.

Energy consumption (electricity & gas) is included in the weekly rent. Telephone & Internet connection and use are extra.

Who am I?

It has been a good but extremely lazy holiday for me...

And with laziness and NOT doing any work, I tend to think a lot.

I thought about who I've become now.
Do I really like who I am?
I know, I'm definitely not the girl I used to be.
I've lost determination, I've lost punctuality, I've lost honesty, I've lost sensitivity.
I procrastinate, I don't try to be on time all the time, I'm not sorry when I'm late, I can't seem to appreciate things that I would have before, I can't seem to remember the goods things people have done to me.

My biological clock has gone absolutely haywired.
I sleep at 5am to wake up at 2am.
I don't have breakfast.
I eat lunner (lunch-dinner) at 5pm.
And supfast (supper-breakfast) at 3am.

And my time management absolutely sucks.
I can barely study for 2 hours straight.

I don't moisturize and have flakey skin.
I brush my teeth but still have that tickling gum sensation.
I pick at my pimples everytime I stare in the mirror.
I don't condition my hair and have split ends.
There are flora and faunas growing from my armpits.

I need to start caring about my life and getting my old self back + new habits of moisturizing and toning my face and all the hair conditioning shenanigan.

I thought about friends, who I wanted to believe were really my true friends.
Who was I kidding?
I knew from the beginning I could never fit in. I could never fit in any group since secondary school. I never ever had a whole bunch of "gang of 6" friends that stayed together forever and ever until their boobs sag to the floor.
But I've always had at least 1 or 2 really really really good friends at a time.
Yet I wanted more.
I wanted more because of security. Because if I needed help, I have plenty of people to ask for help. Because I wanted to just be normal.
So I tried. I tried to fit in. I tried to pretend that I could have some things in common with them. I was sorta-kinda there.
But it never happened.
It couldn't.
Because I knew in deep down, I couldn't depend on them. They would never be there for me. They could never be people I call friends.
And some sorry incident happened, and every single one of their true colours showed.
None of their traits were ones I saw in true friends.
They did or didn't do things friends wouldn't or would have done.
And at that moment, I didn't want them anymore.
Not at all.
I'm glad I never fitted in anyways.
I'm glad I chose to be the one who made that different choice.
I didn't mind losing them.
They didn't seem to like me that much either.
But sadly, I, on my own accord, have decided to lose more than just acquaitances.
Because of sorrier incidence somehow I cannot bring myself to forgive, some people who were once my true friends, no longer have that position in my heart.

In 2008, I have broken plenty of friendships.
But I made and know now who my true friends are.
Maybe sometimes, less really is more.

And then there is my studies.
Omg, I tell you.
I have thoughts of just quitting law.
And the reason why I am still staying on in this field is cuz it would have been a freaking waste of my whole 1st year if I just leave.
Really, I just want to take cooking classes.
Or PR or something to be a food critic.
Maybe I just want to travel the world.
But I can't do that.
And it is not helping when I keep thinking of what the future holds for me.
I took law because I didn't have the slightest idea what I wanted to do.
Because my family couldn't afford medicine.
Or achitecture.
And they didn't want to pay for interior designing course.
I doubt they'd pay for culinary arts.
Sometimes I wished I took a gap year and find out what I really really really wanted to do.
I probably wouldn't have cared less whether it was a stable degree of if it would bring me money.
That was what I always convinced myself when I took law.
Stable degree and money.
But those weren't my own wishes.
They were my parents'.
And my brother in law's ambitions for me which I mistakenly took it for my own.

No doubt, I do love learning law.
I don't regret knowing the law.
I just regret not loving it enough.

And I think because I am 20, I've reached a stage where I am self-searching and a going through a lot of realization.
I have many things I want to do, imaginations of who I want to be, people's lives I want to be a part of but I can't pinpoint exactly what they are.
I don't want to be some loser who doesn't know what to do with her life and struggle for money all the time.
I don't know where I stand now.

And I realized I needed God.
I needed God a long time ago.
I needed God badly.
He was always there I know.
There were so many signs.

And despite only having 3 hours of sleep lastnight or rather, this morning.
I forced myself to wake up at 8am because I needed to go to church.

But I looked out the window and at 9am it was way too dark and way too windy!
I called Ian to ask what I should do, do I go or not?
Thing is, I have to walk 15 minutes to church.
And 15 minutes through harsh winds is excruciating.
The walk would be agonizing.
It would be cold.
Very cold.
It could rain too.
But I had to go.
Ian said he'd pray for me to keep me safe if I decided to go.

And I did.

And you know what?
I wasn't cold. I wasn't shivering.
I was perfectly fine.
The wind was blowing forward instead of against me.
It pushed my bum bum so I could walk faster.
I was walking.
I was walking non-stop.
All 11 pedestrian crossing was green for me!
All of them.
I was even sweating.
Sweating in winter.

I reached church feeling warm, and I was safe.
The whole journey there was a miracle.
And in the sermon, God's word was beautiful.
They were just what I needed.

After church I walked back.
It was slightly colder.
There were 2 red pedestrian crossings.
The wind was against me this time.
I had English wind blowing up my nose, in my mouth, eyes, ears.
And eventually, I farted 7 times in a row cuz of excess wind consumption.
Twas a good time to make loud farts too cuz the sound of wind will just swallow the sound of my ass-cracker (like fire cracker - geddit?).

Heh.

I've lost myself and I've lost God.
But I'm getting back on my feet, and going back to God.
Today I'm going to start getting myself back, get my studies on track, keep my true friends close at heart and God by my side.

Pacific Regency for New Years!

Celebrated new years at Pacific Regency in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Located next to KL Tower, Pacific Regency offers a private and exclusive environment to lay back and relax. It was an amazing experience shared with a whole bunch of close friends from church.

The mastermind for this whole event was nonetheless Mr. Teng! He gotten us two conjoined deluxe family suites. I went there on new years eve in the afternoon to use the facilities. Brought some fried rice and Baskin Robbins for the celebration.

Luna Bar is also one of the hotel's main attractions as it is on the highest floor giving us a skyscraper view of the whole city centre. The fireworks during the countdown can be seen easily from that location!

You should check out the rooms! It's really huge! They even have a wardrobe in the bathroom itself! They also use Thans products! I like!

Christmas dinner at Uncle Chris's

Spent Christmas at my uncle's house. Sabastian's crib! haha! This was his polar bear. He would go around hugging it tight and say "polllllar bwear! polllllar bwear!" It's too cute to hear him stress on the L's!

They just moved into this massive semi-D house. So it was like a open-house slash Christmas gathering kind-of-thing. I really like the theme of the house. It was all white and very posh!

One thing about having a white theme is that probably 5 years down the road, it can turn yellowish.. especially when you have kids and all.

It was a great barbecue dinner! There were lots of good food! You name it! Sausages, steak, lamb, barbecued potatoes, salad, fried rice, and the list goes on!

But I must say the best was the steak bought from Australia. It was splendid! It seriously didn't taste like beef! It really tasted like chicken! There wasn't any chewy texture at all. Your teeth just sinks into the meat! Mmmmm! It reminds me of the exact same steak I had back over at Jac's place. Her father made it and I can't help but ask for another serving! It was splendid!

Also welcome back Nicholas Lai from Melbourne! My couz who lost alot of weight compared to last time! Even the brother looks bigger than him! lol! His reason was: trying to get this girl he likes! lol!

I got stuck in a jam for the new years. How great right? haha! I got stuck near the KL Convention Center. Nevertheless, I called Jac and every occasion is the best spending it with her.

Closing down to the countdown, people just park their cars in the middle of the road and waited to see the fireworks.

And a fantabulous one it was too!!

Before I continue with my blog,
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!! Hope you all had a lovely Christmas!!!

I had a splendid one!! I spent Christmas Eve with the other Chloe (the Hui Hui one)

and Eddie - Chloe's Romanian roomate's Singaporean boyfriend (try saying that really fast).

Chloe and I started preparing for dinner about 2pm but we got to eat at about 7pm cuz the turkey took a about 4 hours to roast!!

But it was a fantastic dinner!!

We savoured on our homemade roast turkey

potato with abundant amount of cheese and garlic *burp*farts*blows the air towards you*

and brussel sprouts with roasted chestnuts (Chloe's creative creation)

I just found out that apparently brussel sprouts are labeled "Chrismasey" food here...

Betcha didn't know that either huh??? Well now you do!!!

Remember this fact cuz one day, it could be a story for you to tell in case u meet new ppl and experience those akward silence situations...

Heh.

For Christmas Day, we went to Ayteken's house - who is Chloe's Canadian roomate's Turkish boyfriend.

Romanian + Singaporean = <3 canadian =" <3" style="font-weight: bold;">Muslim who was apparently hosting a Christmas lunch in his apartment.

Anyhoo, back to the lunch! Ayteken is a marvellous cook! He made everything below from scratch!

with Yorkshire pies (that pastry thing that looks like a bowl), potatoes and more brussel sprouts!

As full as I was, I still managed to eat 1 slice of turkey breast, 2 potatoes, and 3 brussel sprouts. Everything was still yummylicious though!!!

To work it all off, on Boxing Day, we strutted our stuff to Oxford Street to shop till we drop!!

The crowd was ridiculous!!!

And these people really shopped till the sun don't shine!!!

Me too actually. Heh! After walking for about 6 hours, I finally got myself something!!

I had to get it cuz of these buckles - they are certainly good protection for mah boobs!!

On the day after (27th), I went to Chinatown and FINALLY had real Chinese food - Dim Sum!!!

In the evening, Chloe and I were "walking on the Winter Wonderland..."(Sing!!Sing!!)
Winter wonderland is actually Hyde Park -a freaking big fat ass park in London as big as Subang Jaya.

The German Christmas Market was held there and I got some shots of pretty interesting things.

To revitalise the Chineseness in me, we went back to Chinatown agian and ate at the Four Seasons.

Apparently that restaurant is well-known for selling the best duck in the world!!

It certainly wasn't the best I've ever eaten and what's more, they screwed up the rice - it was hard - probably cooked with too little water or simply leftovers from the day before...

Pfft!!!

I would not recommend you to go to Four Seasons no matter what everybody else says, unless you wanna see screwed up oranges.

Finally, my last day spent with Isabel - No, don't worry! She is not anyone's roomate's international boyfriend...I promise!!!

She's was my kindergarten classmate who I never spoke a word to but I have no idea how we get along so well 15 years later...

She took me to C&R in Chinatown again to eat MALAYSIAN FOOD!!!

Nasi lemak baby!!!

I nearly cried tears of joy!!! It was absolutely delicious!!!
I am most happy!!!

Well, Chloe and I, and I'm sure most of you fantasized eating outta the box too eh??

We found this shop in Oxford Street which sells takeaways in a box but we thought the food looked horrible!!! We were NOT going to pay 5.50 pounds for limp, bad looking chow mien...

But our desire to eat outta the box was so great that we came up with a magnificent plan to satisfy our fantasies.

We stole the boxes.

Hee...

They were on the counters and one stack was right at the end leaning against the wall...So we pretended to queue up and when we saw that noone was looking, i whacked the stack towards us so that it would drop on the floor and Chloe would pretend to "kindly" pick them up and nick some boxes while she's at it.

But they didnt fall off the counter!!!

Chloe managed to take the boxes anyway!!!

And then...WE RAN FOR OUR LIVES!!!

And we ordered not so good, but better looking Chinese Chow Mien with dumplings and watched a movie like how they did on TV!!!

BOO! Wassup dog! Ian is in the house! haha! Sorry I'm just a bit hyper and all. lol! Merry Christmas greetings from Ian and Jac! But mainly Ian cause Jac is in London now. She's having a blast there preparing for the Christmas dinner party at her friends place.

Hows my holidays? Its been very productive and too fun! I got myself a new CD player. It was quite pricey because I wanted the specific features that came with it. It has MP3, Aux-In, remote control, and a really nice display! Did it at Adam's Digital. They have good workmanship and good deals!

The Christmas season is here! Everywhere is filled with really pretty Christmas decorations.

Hung out with some high school friends at Kluang Station. It was great! Nazreena Yang Amat Berhormat, welcome home from UK! lol! We call her that because she has royalty blood. Its a really good catch up time!

I am on a cooking and baking frenzy now...

On Sunday, I made 2 cakes as Christmas Gifts - Banana for Shao Yee and Pei Yee and a Marble Cake for Chloe.

Basically the 2 cakes weren't entirely successful though!! My banana cake wasn't sweet enough. I shall blame it on the bananas!!! They weren't sweet enough!!!

My home, on a snowy December day...

I AM ON A FREAKING BREAK....!!!!!!

Aaaaahhh.... Finally...!!!

I've really been enjoying myself!!! I managed to catch up on sleep (13 hours a day) and I've finally gone out to the city to shop and am even taking my time to cook and eat now. Before, I had to keep my cooking and eating schedule to 1hr and 30mins tops cuz I had to go back to the room to finish off my seminar work. Now I can also berlenggang-lenggok in the supermarket for as long as I want and steal recipes from the food packages...

Life is good...

Anyhoo, this was how I spent my holidays so far...

Night 1: Housemate's Birthday!

Here's Sarah, the birthday girl, at home..

We had pizzas and some alcohol for dinner.

Then we decorated some fairy cakes. These are some of my housemate's crude creations...Haha! Put your mind in dirty mode to figure out what these pictures are...

Okay this one is a lil' hard - It's a pooping bum, and the poop has undigested corn on it...Haha!

Then we left to Flares which is a nightclub which plays 70's and 80's music - Jackson 5, Abba, Bee Gees and all.

Gotta have the disco ball...

We had a GREAT time!!!

Especially when we had this interesting old man to watch... Haha!!

He was the star of the club I tell ya! But he only had 3 moves...
Move 1:
He does his "V-style" and stays there for 7 seconds and he looks at you from the side...

Move 2:
Suddenly he starts shuffling his legs real fast.

and then crosses his legs over and stays in this position for 7 seconds...(seriously)

Move 3:
V-style again and he smiles at you...

Move 4:
If you're lucky he gives u a peck on the cheek...Haha! I wasn't lucky enough...

We went to buy some drinks halfway and I tried my first Sex on The Beach that night...

It could almost hear the waves I tell you!!
Since it was Sarah's birthday, the club gave her so many free gifts!!! She had start glasses, 2 necklaces, a free bottle of champagne and a super duper cool inflatable retro guitar!!!

Aaaww...It really was a happy birthday for her and all of us...

Day 2 of holidays to be continued...My tummy is performing a musical now...

Movies: Bolt!

Recently went to watch Bolt with Alex and Wei Yang. It was really good! :D I like! I tell you! Its like the cutest show! haha! Went to 1U to watch it. I'll give it a 7/10! Good graphics together with good humour that will keep you laughing throughout the movie!

Look at Bolt! Isn't he cute? haha! :D

But on the way to 1U, coming from Damansara along the Hartamas highway we encountered a police roadblock under the usual suspected bridge. Alex was driving his Mitsubishi Airtrack Turbo on the freeway stepping on the gas while the turbo kicked in and before we knew it, we were driving at 100. Saw the stupid police under the bridge with the speed camera and about 100 meters after that was the roadblock. Alex being unfamiliar with the roads and all didn't expect the roadblock there. It was really uncalled for. Got pulled over by the police and the cop said, "You kacukan apa?" Wth right? What gives you the right to ask such a question? What does it matter to you? Anyways, today it was the dyno test day! All thanks to Casey! :D Did it at Speedworks at Jalan 222. It was quite the experience! Hearing the car roaring as the machine tests the car's full capacity!

Between the first run and the second run, we went to Naza Showroom to check the rides there! Ferraris, Lambos, Skylines and it just goes down the line!

Had chicken rice for lunch at the nearby chinese coffee shop. Siew Yuk Fan! Ummmmm! I like!

Hi all, it has been a rough week for me battling the deadly dengue disease. I must say it is really tough but I went though it with the never ending support and love from my family and friends and especially my one and only, Jac who has ever been so patient and concerned about me. Thanks my dearest. I guess she had explained my ordeal in the previous posts. She has been sooooo sooooo amazing I tell you. I love her lots! :D She bared with my grumpy-ness, being so supportive and at the same time so hopeful when I was in the hospital. Overall, thanks for all of your prayers and support!

Here I am! Out from the hospital after two horrible days with nurses waking you up to check for fever and blood pressure, run blood tests, doctors coming to check on you, four horrible meals a day, nurses coming in and out to clean the room and all. I barely could sleep. Most importantly, I really want to thank God for his healing and his mercy upon me. It is such a miracle that my platelet count went up quite fast.

Heres how it went..

1st blood test - 125

2nd blood test - 90

3rd blood test - 70

Hospitalized

4th blood test - 52
5th blood test - 85
last blood test -117

Notice how many blood tests I had to go through. Imagine the number of needle holes I have on my arm. Like some drug addict! I counted I've got 10 holes! There were some failed attempts because the nurse couldn't find my veins and 1 for my drip.

Notice the last two figures. A huge jump right? Thank God!
Praise to the Lord God Almighty. His Name renowns in the heavens and the earth!

I will be recuperating at home for the next few days before I can really start enjoying myself again.

Update on Ian

Hello all...

Ian had a blood test today, and his platelet count dropped to 70...

He is in Pantai Hospital in Cheras now...

I talked to him today while he was at the hospital and he sounds fine...

=)

He did his own exploration adventure in the hospital (Yup, still the same ol' Ian, haha!).

He searched unsuccessfully for morgues and but managed his way to the maternity ward and saw teeny weeny newborn babies!!

=D

He's being taken good care of at the moment, but we don't know what will happen tomorrow...

We can only hope that his platelets won't drop anymore so it shows that he's getting better...

Please do continue to pray for him yea?

Prayers for Ian

Hey all!

Ian has contracted dengue and is pretty ill now...

=(

The poor thing is having on-off headaches, muscle pains, on-off fever and loss of appetite...

Surprisingly, he is not hospitalized but we will only know tomorrow if he needs a blood transfusion due to his (a bit too) low platelet count now...Only 90 out of the average 200.

So I am just asking you all to please help me pray for his speedy recovery and do help me take care of him if, God-forbid, anything serious happens as I regrettably will not be able to be there soon enough...

Oh, but please don't go visit him and send him text msges for now because he needs all the rest he can get, yea??

He just needs your prayers to get better...

Dental checkup

Recently went for my annual orthodontic check up. I don't like going for it. David, my dentist always know whether I have been wearing my retainers or not! Arrgh! Anyways, it would be last time seeing him. But, I must say he is really good! Google David's Orthodontics! They are specialized in what they do and they are really good in it! They just moved to a new place next to Nikko Hotel along Jalan Ampang, KL.

The new place is great! Way more spacious and more friendlier staff to assist you.

And more pictures! Actually, just one more..haha!

I am down with a fever which gives me more time to blog and stuff. The aussie people are mostly back! Woohoo! Time for party and gaming people! But till that happens, I must get well first! Im on my way there thanks to the support and care from the girlfriend! :D Love you dear.. Thanks for everything!

Sorry for the silence all this while...

I have been so so so busy...

Seriously...

I can barely recall when was the last time I actually slept at the normal hours.

Everyday for about 3 weeks consecutively, I've been up doing work till 3/4 am.

Even during the weekends.

This week was worse, I even stayed up till 5 one day just to wake up 2 hours later to get ready for class...

AND yesterday was absolutely mad!!

I got home from uni at 4 and stayed up till 8.3o the next morning to finish off my Family Law seminar (tutorial) that day and went straight to uni till 12.

Finally when I came back, I managed to sleep from 5 in the evening but I woke up at 1 am and am now having breakfast at this ungodly hour.

But I had my sleep so I am a happy woman!

I reckon for the last 3 weeks, I only had 20 hours of sleep in total.

I'm having trouble with time management.

And the thing is, I don't spend my not-studying hours playing.

They're filled up with travelling home, grocery shopping and preparing food, cooking and washing up after that.

It ain't easy being a student and a housewife.

=(

I still am in the "trying-to-catch-what-the-lecturer-is-saying" mode and am struggling to understand what the students with a vast array of accents are saying when they talk at the speed of light.

Oh and I realised these English students don't study, but drink and club every night but still do amazingly well during class.

Some even do some serious bullcrap AND gets the lecturers saying "You're absolutely right!".

Omg, I am so amazed.

So tried my hand at my bullshit skills yesterday for this question which I couldn't finish doing even after staying up for 16 hours and a half doing it.

And I was ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!

*grins*

I should forget studying and drink and club every night.

=)

Anyhoo,

I somehow managed to miraculously slip some English life in me.

I went for an Oliver Twist musical last weekend and it was wonderful!!!

It was so so so good I tell ya!!!

I had another taste of England a few weeks ago during Bonfire Night.

It was a celebration filled with fireworks display, carnivals and of course, a bonfire.

A MASSIVE bonfire.

Just for knowledge, Bonfire Night is a celebration of the capture of Catholics conspirators who tried to blow up the UK parliament with 36 barrels gunpowder. The reason for this was to overthrow the King as the monarch in the 17th century and before I reckon, persecuted all Catholics in the country. You see, over here, the main religion is Anglican.

Pretty cool to know, huh?

SOULED OUT!

Not too long ago, I went to Souled Out, Hartamas with this two crazy people! Daryl and Casey. haha! They are capable of cracking up a joke even when they do not intend to. Crazy nut heads!

I had cheesy nachos and Casey had fish and chips whereas Daryl had curry laksa. No particular occasion. Just dinner and talking nonsensical stuff! haha!

I washed it down with THE BEST margarita ever! and the Casey and Daryl had red wine. Too bad they didn't eat steak to compliment it. It was fun I must say. Anyways, I'll be posting up my movie reviews soon!

Also, if you prefer a post which has a hell lot of humor in it and written in a light note, keep on visiting cause the girlfriend does it really well! :D

Ian has been busy studying for his exams and completing his mountain of assignments whereas I am quite an atrocious blogger once my academic expedition begins...Haha! And I am still struggling to cope with the amount of work I have to do here...

But we will try to update as frequently as possible for your reading pleasure.
